About the Role

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Medical Officer (MBBS) to provide clinical consultation and medical support at the OPD Centre. The role involves patient assessment, diagnosis, and prescribe appropriate medicines, investigations, and treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct OPD consultations and perform detailed patient history and clinical examination.
• Diagnose and manage patients within the scope of practice and established clinical protocols.
• Prescribe appropriate medicines, investigations, and treatment plans.
• Review investigation reports and explain findings and treatment plans to patients.
• Identify cases requiring specialist consultation.
• Monitor patients requiring follow-up and maintain continuity of care.
• Provide basic emergency assessment and stabilization, when required.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient medical records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, patient safety standards, and infection-control practices.
• Coordinate with nursing staff, diagnostic teams, pharmacy, and specialist consultants for seamless patient care.
• Educate patients and attendants regarding medication, lifestyle modifications, preventive healthcare, and follow-up.
• Participate in health camps, screening activities, and other centre-level clinical initiatives, as required.
• Support quality improvement and clinical audit activities.
• Ensure confidentiality and ethical handling of patient information.

Qualification & Experience

• MBBS from a recognized medical institution.
• Valid registration with the respective State Medical Council / MCI
• 2-6 years of experience in OPD, clinics, hospital setups.
