Job Summary

Progressive Technology is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Medical Billing Executive to join our growing team in Gurgaon. This position is specifically for the US healthcare process, involving end-to-end medical billing responsibilities. As part of our dedicated night shift team, you will play a vital role in processing healthcare claims, interacting with insurance companies, and ensuring timely revenue cycle management. Ideal candidates will have strong analytical skills and a keen eye for accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire billing cycle for US healthcare providers

• Submit medical claims to insurance companies via electronic and paper methods

• Follow up with insurance companies for claim status and payment details

• Address denials, rejections, and underpayments promptly and effectively

• Coordinate with the coding team to ensure accurate coding and documentation

• Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports of billing activities

• Communicate with clients and internal teams regarding billing queries

• Adhere to HIPAA and other compliance guidelines throughout all processes

• Meet performance and productivity targets as set by the management

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree (any stream)

• Good knowledge of US medical billing processes (R1, RCM, AR follow-up, etc.)

• Familiarity with insurance terminology (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial Insurance)

• Strong communication skills – both verbal and written

• Proficiency in using billing software and MS Office tools

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in medical billing for US healthcare clients is preferred

Working Hours

• Night Shift (US Hours) – Typically between 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST, Monday to Friday

• Weekends off (Saturday and Sunday)
