Duration: 3–6 Months (Performance-based conversion to full-time possible)

About the Program

The School of International Biodesign (SIB) is a flagship collaboration between AIIMS New Delhi, IIT Delhi, and the Government of India, dedicated to developing next-generation medical devices.
This internship focuses on leveraging robotics, mechatronics, and AI to transform cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries, including advanced hair-transplant technologies.

Interns will work in a highly interdisciplinary environment, directly contributing to end-to-end medical device development.

Role: Mechatronics / Robotics Intern

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechatronic systems for medical devices
• Program microcontrollers, sensors, actuators, and embedded systems
• Create 3D CAD models (SolidWorks/AutoCAD) for analysis and communication
• Collaborate with domain experts across engineering & clinical teams
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and industry standards
