Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a skilled MEPF Design Engineer to join our Global Excellence Centre in India. You will develop MEPF designs for industrial facilities, creating 2D/3D models, layouts and drawings for HVAC, plumbing, drainage and utilities using AutoCAD and Revit.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Building Services Engineering, 3+ years of MEPF design experience, knowledge of ASME/ASHRAE or local standards, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Building Services Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in MEPF design.
• Experience with industrial/process, semiconductor or manufacturing projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of ASME, ASHRAE and/or local design standards.
• Revit, Design Builder, Plant 3D or similar software knowledge is a plus.
• Intermediate English skills.

Role description

This role will form an integral part of our Global Excellence Centre (GEC) – Arcadis’ centralized and fully integrated project delivery group. Our GEC is made up of more than 3,000 talented individuals working in offices across Romania, India and Philippines, providing Capability, Capacity and a Competitive Advantage across a wide array of unique projects and services, in collaboration with our global businesses. The MEPF Discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection) in the GECs is comprised of cross‑functional teams, that contribute to the development of innovative MEPF solutions that optimize energy efficiency, sustainability, and occupant comfort. Our ability to effectively manage projects, assess client needs, and provide technical guidance is crucial in delivering successful outcomes, using the most innovative way of doing computational design.
