Job summary

SSOE Group in Mumbai is seeking a Mechanical Designer to join our Process team. You will contribute to designing mechanical systems for manufacturing clients, collaborating with global teams, and delivering drawings and layouts on schedule. The role requires a diploma in mechanical engineering, 3 years of design experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor.

A willingness to work evening hours for US communication is essential. Hybrid work arrangement offered.

SSOE is seeking a Mechanical Designer to join our Process team in India to support design of mechanical systems for manufacturing clients.

Responsibilities

The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing.

Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.

• Analyzes sketches, notes and other input materials to determine and plan the best approach to prepare drawings.
• Applies design fundamentals to total systems or sub-systems.
• Works under supervision with work effort occasionally checked during progress and reviewed upon completion.
• Solves design problems, but is expected to need assistance.
• May perform routine design calculations for the review of the project engineer/architect and prepares basic layouts.
• May have minimal external customer contact.
• Job may require use of AI or similar digital technology to perform the job function.

Work Timing : 9 am to 9 pm IST

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/Process Equipment Engineer
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Designer
• Minimum one (1) year AutoCAD and inventor experience
• Must have excellent english written and verbal communication skills.
• Should be flexible to work in the evening hours to maintain the communication with US teams.
• Willing to advance in career by taking increased responsibilities on projects and organization.
• Plant 3D or Revit experience is a Plus
• Candidate should have very good communication skill and data entry knowledge.
