Job summary

DEFENCE MASTER INDIA PVT LTD seeks an engineer to contribute to robotics R&D initiatives in Chennai. You will oversee electronics interfaces, hardware testing, and debugging with hands-on work on Raspberry Pi, Arduino and ARM processors, plus Python ML components.

Exposure to AI basics and real-time embedded systems will be advantageous. You will independently plan test procedures, SOPs and reports while collaborating on sensor suites, IP communications, and device integration across the project

Qualifications

• Experience in robotics R&D projects
• In-depth knowledge of sensors, microcontrollers, boards and processors
• Basic knowledge about Artificial Intelligence
• Hands-on experience with servo motors and signals
• Exposure to real-time embedded software systems
• Familiarity with IP communication protocols (TCP/IP/HTTPS)
• Ability to plan test procedures and reports independently

Responsibilities

• Work on robotic research and development projects
• Handle electronics interface, hardware testing and debugging
• Apply hands-on experience with Raspberry Pi/Arduino/ARM platforms
• Develop Python ML components and integrate AI concepts
• Work on GPS tracking, image processing, and IoT tasks as needed
• Plan and execute test procedures, SOPs and reports
• Collaborate to ensure smooth system integration

Job description

• To work on Robotic research and Development projects
• To take care of Electronics Interface, Hardware testing and debugging
• Should have hands-on experience in Raspberry pi, Arduino, Arm etc., and other adbanced processors.
• Should have very good knowledge in Python machine learning language.
• To be able to take on assignments individually.
• Should have in-depth knowledge about all types of Sensors, microcontrollers, boards, processors and new technology.
• Should have basic knowledge about Artificial Intelligence.
• Should have hands-on experience on Servo motors and signals.
• Experience in GPS Tracking, Image Processing, Face recognition, IOT, gyro, accelerometer, etc will be an added advantage.
• Exposure to Real-time embedded software systems
• Familiarity with IP communication protocols (TCP, IP, HTTPS)
• You will establish functional and technical specifications, plan hardware/software interface, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system.
• You will independently plan test procedures, standard operating procedures and reports.
