MEAN Stack Developer – Permanent role with a valued client of Magnuscopo. Responsible for the entire application lifecycle, from conception to deployment, focusing on building robust, scalable, and high‑performing web applications using the MEAN framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using the complete MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js).
• Create responsive, engaging, and highly interactive user interfaces using Angular and related technologies.
• Build efficient RESTful APIs and server‑side logic using Node.js and Express.js.
• Design, implement, and manage data models and queries within MongoDB.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well‑documented code; perform regular code reviews and apply best practices.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, debug issues, and optimize application performance for speed and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, including UI/UX designers, product managers, and other engineers.
• Participate actively throughout the full SDLC – planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Keep up‑to‑date with emerging technologies and industry trends in the JavaScript and web development space.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven, hands‑on experience with MongoDB, Express.js, Angular (specify version if necessary), and Node.js.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with GitHub or other version control systems.
• Experience with unit testing and debugging tools/frameworks.
• Experience with TypeScript.
• Familiarity with GCP cloud platforms and Docker containerization.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with front‑end state management libraries.
• Understanding of security principles for web applications.
