Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a Senior MATLAB Developer to work on MATLAB and Simulink-based modelling and testing for chassis subsystems in embedded environments.

You will analyze requirements, author test cases in Jama, develop automated test packages using ECU-TEST, and implement Python-based automation to streamline testing workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of MATLAB and its applications in embedded systems development.
• Experience with Simulink for modeling and simulation of dynamic systems.
• Familiarity with documentation practices and CMmi standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance existing features in MATLAB, troubleshoot bugs, and resolve ad-hoc requests to ensure software reliability and performance according to client and business specifications.
• Provide client support by analyzing data, resolving tickets, and performing daily support activities, while monitoring and tracking client requirements for timely delivery.
• Create and maintain documentation related to enhancements and compliance with CMmi standards, ensuring client requirements are thoroughly documented and communicated.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers in MATLAB development practices and principles.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to gather, clarify, and validate requirements for new developments and enhancements, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

Job Description

Analyze, review, and update chassis system requirements (specifically steering and braking subsystems) to ensure technical accuracy and alignment with engineering standards.
Author and maintain comprehensive test cases within the Jama platform to support robust requirements traceability.
Design and develop automated test packages and execution sequences utilizing the ECU-TEST tool.
