Job summary

Mathematics Instructor

Curriculum Scope:

The candidate will have to teach, but not limited to, the following topics.

• Mathematics for Computer Science
• Discrete Mathematics
• Linear Algebra
• Advanced Calculus
• Optimization
• Probability & Statistics

Requirements:

• MSc in Mathematics.
• A strong passion for teaching and mentoring, dedicated to fostering student success

Skills :

• Deep understanding of Advanced Engineering Mathematics and its real-world applications.
• Excellent communication and ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Passion for mentoring B.Tech students and driving impact.
• Solid expertise in subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Linear Algebra, Optimization, Advanced Calculus, Probability & Statistics, and Mathematical Foundations.
• Professional fluency in English, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in content development using tools like Google Sheets, Google Slides, etc. (Knowledge of the Microsoft 365 stack is a plus).
• Ability to quickly learn and use technology platforms to interact with students.
• Empathy, ambition, and the ability to work closely with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
• Prior 1 year of teaching/training/industry experience in Mathematics at the University Level.
• Eligibility for undergraduate-level teaching (such as CSIR-NET, SET, GATE, or SLET qualifications).
• Knowledge of AI/ ML, Data Science, and Optimization.
• Research exposure/ experience in applying Mathematics in the CSE/ Tech Industry.
• An innovative approach to problem-solving and adaptability to different learning styles.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to structure lessons and assessments effectively.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to varius learning styles & requirements.

• Continuously develop and demonstrate a teaching philosophy that inspires student learning.
• Review student deliverables for accuracy and quality.
• Handle a class size of 70100 students, ensuring engagement and effective learning outcomes.
• Stay current with professional development in both pedagogy and software development practices.
