Job summary

EdAssist is seeking a Mathematics Educator in Bangalore North for the 2026-27 academic year. The role focuses on delivering ICSE/IGCSE math instruction to classes 6–12 with a student-centric approach.

The ideal candidate holds a postgraduate in Mathematics, preferably with a B.Ed, and demonstrates strong English communication, digital teaching proficiency, and classroom management skills. Teaching experience in ICSE/IGCSE/IB/ISC is valued.

Qualifications

• Post-graduation in Mathematics with solid subject mastery.
• Fluency in English, strong communication skills, and ICT comfort.
• Experience with ICSE/IGCSE/IB/ISC boards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver ICSE/IGCSE mathematics lessons for grades 6–12.
• Maintain current subject knowledge and align with exam requirements.
• Deliver engaging lessons and mentor students proactively.
• Differentiate instruction for varied ability levels.
• Assess, record, and report student progress regularly.
• Communicate with parents during PTMs and as required.
• Support foundation course students preparing for exams.

About the Role

Roles & Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare lessons aligned with the ICSE & IGCSE curriculum for Classes 6-12.
• Maintain up-to-date subject knowledge in Mathematics, including ICSE exam requirements.
• Deliver engaging lessons and mentor students proactively.
• Motivate and support learners based on individual academic needs.
• Differentiate instruction to cater to varied ability levels within the classroom.
• Design weekly assignments for all assigned batches.
• Evaluate and return assignments in a timely manner with constructive feedback.
• Assess, record, and report student progress regularly.
• Communicate effectively with parents during PTMs and as required.
• Handle Mathematics instruction confidently across Grades 6-12.
• Support Foundation Course students preparing for both school and competitive examinations.
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
• Assist the Lead Educator with academic and administrative tasks when required.

• Strong academic background and subject mastery in Mathematics.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable with digital teaching tools.

• Post-graduation in Mathematics (mandatory); B.Ed is an added advantage.
