Job summary

Crossing Hurdles seeks a PhD-level Mathematics evaluator to design and solve advanced problems for large language models. You will craft rigorous, clear, step-by-step solutions that reveal reasoning paths and identify where AI models struggle.

You will develop novel mathematical scenarios, provide detailed annotations, and give constructive feedback to improve evaluation quality. Strong written communication and research background are essential.

Qualifications

• PhD in Mathematics or equivalent is required.
• Strong foundation in Mathematics from undergrad to PhD level.
• Ability to break down complex mathematical concepts into clear, step-by-step reasoning.
• Strong written communication and feedback/annotations are essential.
• Experience in AI evaluation or analytical roles is preferred.

Requirements

• PhD in Mathematics or an equivalent technical field with strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.


• Strong foundation in Mathematics, spanning advanced undergraduate through graduate and PhD-level concepts.


• Ability to break down complex mathematical concepts into clear, structured, step-by-step reasoning.


• Strong written communication skills with the ability to provide detailed feedback and annotations.


• Prior experience in AI evaluation, data annotation, content review, quality assurance, mathematical research, or related analytical roles is preferred.
