Job summary

Srijan: Now Material is seeking a Data Scientist to collaborate with business stakeholders, define problem statements, and build robust analytical models for digital marketing and product management. You will work with cross-functional teams to integrate models into data products and tools, ensuring scalable, data-driven decisions.

The ideal candidate brings 4–7 years of data science experience, strong ML and statistics know-how, and hands-on Python or R proficiency, with superb communication

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Electronics, Computer Applications, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 4-7 years of relevant experience in data science, statistics, or analytics.
• Strong understanding of ML, statistics, and data mining techniques (clustering, classification, regression).
• Hands-on experience with Python or R for analysis and model development.
• Experience with data transformation, feature engineering, and data quality assessment.
• Familiarity with AB testing, hypothesis testing, and model evaluation.
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills; good stakeholder communication.
