Job summary

Lubrizol Corporation in Pune, India is seeking a Regional Core Master Data Supervisor to ensure accurate customer, vendor and material master data in SAP-supported processes. You will coordinate with Trade Compliance, the MD Center of Excellence and global stakeholders to drive governance and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include coaching the team, standardizing global processes, participating in audits, and leading data reporting efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, technical, Supply Chain or related fields, or equivalent experience.
• Deep understanding of master data processes and Lubrizol systems across functional areas.
• Knowledge of Master Data tables and fields across End‑to‑End scope.
• Technical knowledge of systems such as SAP, CMRP, SAR, QAD and ability to troubleshoot or develop them.
• Familiarity with digital tools used in Master Data (MS Forms, PowerApps, PowerAutomate, SharePoint, DataLake, RPA, InfoSteward).
• Experience managing external audits and implementing corrective actions.
• Strong analytical skills and Lubrizol reporting tools.
• Experience leading regional teams is preferred.

Summary

The Regional Core Master Data Supervisor position is accountable for ensuring accurate customer, vendor and material master data in support of SAP business transactions, in a cost‑efficient way. This role works closely with internal parties including Trade Compliance, Master Data Center of Excellence and global contacts in Operations, Supply Chain, IT and business leaders. It reports to the Sr Global Manager Core Master Data and may act as a global process lead.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train team members on master data setup and change requests; monitor and manage performance of Master Data Advisors, including designing metrics and KPIs to measure performance.
• Identify and lead or collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, including process improvement, automation and digitalization of master data processes in close collaboration with the MD&TC COE.
• Develop standard global processes for the relevant functional area (customer/vendor), establish and manage governance, and develop and maintain training materials in close collaboration with the MD&TC COE.
• Act as a master data representative in larger projects in adjacent areas or integration projects; assess impact of changes on MD organization and LZ.
• Develop, generate and maintain standardized reports for stakeholders and internal usage in close collaboration with the MD&TC COE.
• Act as lead for external audits and implementing corrective action; lead implementation of corrective actions.
• May be assigned the added responsibility of BPL (Business Process Leader).

Experience and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in business, technical, Supply Chain or related fields, or equivalent experience.
• Deep understanding of master data processes, critical data elements and Lubrizol systems in multiple functional areas; preferred experience.
• Deep understanding of Master Data tables and fields across different functional areas (End‑to‑End); preferred experience.
• Detailed technical knowledge of one or more systems such as SAP, CMRP, SAR, QAD; ability to maintain, troubleshoot and/or develop systems individually.
• Knowledge of principles and technologies of digital tools (MS Forms, PowerApps, PowerAutomate, SharePoint, DataLake, RPA, InfoSteward) used within Master Data.
• Demonstrated experience managing external audits; ability to assess compliance, identify issues and root causes, and propose and execute corrective actions.
• Deep understanding of analytical tools and techniques including Lubrizol reporting tools.
• Experience managing regional teams and processes is preferred.
• Proficient in English.
