We are seeking a dynamic individual to join the Sales & Marketing department of Inland Container Depot (ICD) in Bihta, Patna, Bihar. The ideal candidate will be responsible to meet & exceed export/import (EXIM) Sales targets, including field level market research to tap market potential. Candidate will need to travel extensively meeting exporters, importers and customs house agents (CHAs) in Bihar & neighbouring states to sell EXIM facilities of ICD Bihta including Rail/Road transportation, customs facilities, and warehousing. Job profile will include sending rate quotations to customers and sales collections. This role requires a highly self-motivated and committed individual who can take the initiative for seeking business opportunities in a greenfield market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Marketing:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy to grow the business.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share in the region.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Customer Service & Rate Quotations:
    • Address customer inquiries for rates immediately & effectively in line with the companys rate approval matrix.
    • Coordinate with Operations & Customer Service team to ensure customers receive the service which was committed to them.
  • Onboarding & Financial:
    • Ensure compliance with the companys policies for onboarding new customers and ensuring proper rate & credit agreements are duly signed before starting business.
    • Timely collection of company dues from customers.
