Position Overview

The Head of Marketing will lead and oversee the 360 marketing strategy and execution for the C. Krishniah Chetty Group of Jewellers. This role requires a visionary leader with strong creative, analytical, and managerial skills to drive brand growth across all customer touchpoints retail, digital, corporate, and experiential. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring consistent brand positioning, innovation in marketing initiatives, and seamless collaboration across teams and departments.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic & Integrated Marketing
  • Develop and implement comprehensive 360 marketing strategies covering ATL, BTL, digital, PR, CRM, and partnerships.
  • Drive marketing innovation and new idea generation for brand visibility and engagement.
  • Plan and execute local (OR/RO) and national marketing campaigns ensuring strong reach and ROI.
2. Brand Communication & Creative
  • Oversee all web and social media creatives, ensuring alignment with UX design themes and brand identity.
  • Manage end-to-end creative development marketing campaigns, product communication, and visual storytelling.
  • Ensure consistency in brand communication across all platforms—print, digital, in-store, and events.
3. Digital & Social Media Marketing
  • Lead social media strategy and execution in collaboration with the E-commerce team.
  • Drive digital innovation through data-driven campaigns, influencer marketing, and engagement initiatives.
  • Oversee E-commerce marketing integration (in coordination with Sourav & Radha) for online traffic and conversion growth.
4. PR, Events & Partnerships
  • Manage public relations and media outreach to strengthen brand presence.
  • Conceptualize and execute internal and external events, fashion shows, and customer engagement programs.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with brands like ITC, Visa, Amex, Zomato, and others for co-branded initiatives.
5. Visual Merchandising & Retail
  • Coordinate visual merchandising (VM) strategies to enhance in-store experience.
  • Collaborate closely with retail and corporate sales teams to ensure marketing alignment with business goals.
  • Support Bytescare and conflict resolution related to branding and marketing content.
6. Customer Relationship & CRM
  • Strengthen customer loyalty programs and targeted CRM initiatives.
  • Leverage customer insights for segmentation, personalization, and campaign optimization.
7. Administration & Departmental Management
  • Lead and mentor the marketing team (Mahalakshmi, Nagarathna, Shivashankar, Katherine, plus new recruits).
  • Manage departmental operations—budgets, payments, documentation (vDoc), archives, JDs, vPerform assessments, and vB scores.
  • Ensure timely coordination with HR, Finance, and other departments for smooth marketing functioning.
8. Technology & Innovation
  • Infuse tech-based solutions in marketing, retail sales, and customer experience.
  • Drive innovation-led marketing, exploring new trends and digital tools.
9. Media & Content
  • Oversee photography, videography, and content creation for marketing collaterals.
  • Manage internal and external newsletters and communication content.
10. Agency & Vendor Management
  • Liaise with external creative, digital, PR, and media agencies for campaign execution.
  • Evaluate and onboard new agencies through pitches and performance reviews.

  • Annual and quarterly marketing plan and calendar with measurable KPIs.
  • Growth in brand recall, customer engagement, and lead generation.
  • Execution excellence across all digital and offline channels.

Qualifications & Experience
  • MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 14–20 years of experience in marketing, preferably in luxury retail, jewellery, or lifestyle industry.
  • Proven track record in digital marketing, brand strategy, and creative leadership.
