Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive Market Research Associate to support our marketing and sales teams with data, insights, and structured research. You will help identify opportunities, study events and industry trends, analyze competitor and brand presence, and build accurate datasets that support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
1. Exhibition & Industry Research
- Research and enrich our Exhibition Calendar with updated event information, markets, visitor profiles, and participation trends.
- Track global and regional industry movements and identify relevant shows for our target audience.
- Study competitor participation and analyse their presence at key exhibitions.
2. Prospecting & Lead Research
- Search, filter, and map prospects using Apollo, LinkedIn, and other general online research.
- Build and maintain structured lead datasets with accurate segmentation.
- Identify and validate key decision-makers and Points of Contact for target accounts.
3. Sales Intelligence & Data Support
- Help build sales-worth data for targeted shows (market size, relevant industries, key exhibitors, opportunity analysis).
- Prepare concise research summaries and insight reports for the sales and strategy teams.
- Ensure all research datasets (events, leads, contacts, companies) are continuously updated and error-free.
What Were Looking For
- 1-2 years of experience in market research, sales research, or a similar role (freshers with strong research aptitude may also be considered).
- Strong analytical and online research skills.
- Proficiency in Excel/Sheets; familiarity with Apollo, CRMs, or LinkedIn search is a bonus.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, handle large volumes of data, and meet deadlines.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn.
