Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to implement and maintain manufacturing operation sequences, specifications and equipment for production of new and existing products. The role focuses on process improvements to reduce cycle time, waste, defects, and to boost productivity.

You will supervise shifts, train operators, and ensure ISO documentation is up to date. The ideal candidate holds a Mechanical/Production Diploma with 2-3 years of shop-floor experience in mass manufacturing,

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/Production with 2-3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Shop floor experience in mass manufacturing/assembly of functional products.
• Fluency in English; Hindi/Marathi language skills helpful.

Responsibilities

• Manage shift supervision and production assembly processes.
• Implement and improve manufacturing processes to reduce cycle time and waste.
• Provide operator guidance and on-the-job training.
• Utilize OEE analysis to drive productivity gains.
• Ensure ISO procedures are followed and maintain documentation.
• Coordinate kit arrangement with planner and stores for next shift.
• Report safety issues and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Plan daily/weekly/monthly workforce and capacity requirements.

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will be responsible for performing a wide variety of complex duties such as implementing and maintaining manufacturing operation sequences, specifications and equipment, requirements for production/ assembly of new and existing products.

Manufacturing Engineer will primarily focus on supporting production by implementing and improving manufacturing processes to achieve maximum production improvements, in cycle time, waste reduction, defect reduction and productivity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Management of shift supervision.


• Should have handled Manufacturing production assembly process of High/Medium Volume and High Mix business.


• Problem Solving & Trouble shooting manufacturing problems by using Systemic tools.


• Providing guidance to the operators and training them on the job.


• Effective utilization of resources & OEE analysis.


• Should be Aware & following ISO procedures as required & maintain and sustain ISO documentation


• Kit Arrangement for next shift in coordination with planner & Store


• Shift-wise clearance of scrap (RCCM with correct root cause)


• Daily updation of Visual management boards – SQDIP.


• Monthly/Weekly scrap analysis and actions to be identified along with Process Quality.


• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing systems (5S implementation, Standard work, Line balancing, SPC, FMEA's).


• To report Accident/Incident / unsafe condition / unsafe act to safety manager and ensure the closure.


• Build plan analysis & manpower planning (daily, weekly, monthly)

Education and Experience Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical/ Production with a minimum of 2-3 Years of experience in Manufacturing


• Shop Floor experience in mass manufacturing / assembly of functional products

• External: Vendors

• Excellent communication skills – written and spoken as job requires extensive communication.


• Ability to take full ownership and should take initiative in resolving production related issues.


• Alertness and high sense of urgency to resolve issues and communicate feedback to customers.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

• Fluency in English and Hindi/Marathi
