Job summary

Cerebras Systems in Bangalore, India (plus Toronto and Sunnyvale) is hiring a Manufacturing Bring-up Engineer to accelerate the system bring-up across ASIC, software and QA teams. You will implement efficient processes, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready hardware for customers, with a strong emphasis on automation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in EE, ECE, CS or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of industry experience in an operations environment.
• Experience in hardware bring-up and the debug of complex systems.
• Working knowledge of ASIC bring-up and test processes.
• Working knowledge of scripting in Python and/or Perl.
• Proven experience in system bring-up and validation of complex computer systems.
• Understanding of computer system architecture and hardware components.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools for system bring-up.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Very strong coordination and collaboration skills to support customer demand.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing bring-up to configure, test, and validate system performance before shipment.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with ASIC, SW, Diagnostics, and QA teams to automate manufacturing workflow.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during system bring-up across ASIC, SW, and QA domains.
• Design and implement processes to manage and track bring-up status and progress.
• Track and report bring-up metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Implement further SW automation to scale the manufacturing bring-up process in line with the roadmap.

About The Role

As the ManufacturingBring-up Engineeryou willsupportoursystem level bring-up process execution, implementation, and evolutionin the manufacturing pipeline. This is ahigh visibilityrole that requires strong technicalexpertise,coordination, and collaboration todeliver our product from manufacturing to the customer.

Skills & Qualifications

• Working knowledge and experience inAsicbringupand test processes
• Working knowledge of scripting in languages such as Python and/or Perl
• Proven experience in system bring-up and validationof complex computer systems or equivalent technologies
• Understanding ofcomputersystem architecture and hardware components
• Proficiencyin scripting and automation tools for systembringup
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Very strongcoordination and collaboration skills to manage a business-critical workflow directly in support of customer demand

Preferred:

• Familiarity in creating test and s/w infrastructure at large scale
• Working across global time zones

Location

Bangalore, India/Toronto, Canada/ Sunnyvale, California.

The base salary range for this position is $170,000 to $230,000 annually. Actual compensation may include bonus and equity, and will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications.
