Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in India is seeking a Manufacturing-oriented role to support production activities, ensuring strict adherence to safety and quality standards while maintaining accurate batch documentation.

Qualifications

Role Definition

Supports manufacturing processes by performing many technical tasks while ensuring compliance with the prevailing safety and quality procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

• Executing manufacturing tasks and processes according to defined SOPs and accurately documenting data and related batch records.
• Identifying issues related to manufacturing processes and implementing process improvements.
• Providing support to manufacturing processes with activities such as validation of processes and equipment, implementing manufacturing best practices, and reporting.
• Training new and junior employees on SOP's, safety procedures, policies and standards.

Degree Requirement: Preferred to have a Bachelor’s in Engineering from Tier 1 college or University.

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Level Basic Understanding:

• Explains the value of a disciplined approach to problem solving.

• Utilizes accepted procedures for problem analysis and resolution.
