Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Independently manage complex trademark prosecution and enforcement for domestic and international clients.
• Advise on brand protection, enforcement risk assessment, clearance, licensing, and IP protection strategies.
• Draft and review high-value legal documents including cease-and-desist notices, settlements, pleadings, opinions, and coexistence agreements.

Job Overview: We are looking for a Senior Trademark Lawyer with substantial experience in trademark prosecution, portfolio management, advisory, and related Intellectual Property matters. Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage and strategize complex trademark prosecution and enforcement matters, including filings, oppositions, rectifications, cancellation actions, renewals, and portfolio management for domestic and international clients
• Advise clients on brand protection, trademark enforcement, risk assessment, clearance, licensing, and broader IP protection strategies
• Draft and review high-value and complex legal documents, including cease-and-desist notices, settlement agreements, pleadings, legal opinions, coexistence agreements, and commercial IP-related documentation
• Lead and manage client relationships by providing commercially sound, strategic, and solution-oriented legal advice
• Coordinate with foreign associates, counsels, investigators, and regulatory authorities in relation to cross-border trademark matters and enforcement actions
• Supervise, mentor, and guide junior associates and team members while ensuring quality control and efficient matter management
• Actively represent the Firm at client meetings, industry interactions, conferences, and networking platforms to reinforce the Firm’s reputation, expand its professional visibility, and uphold the standards of a leading Tier 1 IP law firm.
• Stay updated on developments in trademark law, regulatory changes, and market trends to provide strategic and commercially relevant advice to clients.
• Demonstrate capability to strengthen client engagements, foster long-term professional relationships, and contribute to practice growth

• Demonstrated experience in independently managing large trademark portfolios for domestic and international clients.
