Salesforce, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Technical Consulting to lead a team of technical consultants on Life Sciences Cloud engagements.

The role combines people leadership with hands‑on architecture work to deliver scalable Salesforce solutions for healthcare and life sciences clients. You will mentor architects, drive internal initiatives, and ensure delivery quality while partnering with clients and vendors to secure desired business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience leading Salesforce technical consulting projects.
• 5+ years of people management experience.
• Experience architecting enterprise Salesforce solutions in life sciences/healthcare.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA, GxP, PHI, HL7 and FHIR.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical work as a technical architect on Life Sciences Cloud projects (50% utilization) while leading the consulting team.
• Hire, train, and mentor Technical Consultants to implement high‑quality solutions.
• Lead Enterprise Architecture and Governance for enterprise customer engagements and drive AI‑enabled delivery.
• Run workshops, collaborate with Delivery Managers and Solution Architects, and ensure robust security and integration design.

This role is 50% billable and in addition to team leadership, you will work with our customers and partners as a technical architect to solve critically important business challenges using Salesforce’s Lifesciences and Health industry solutions **Responsibilities:*** You’ll have up to 15 direct reports under your scope of responsibility.* You will be required to deliver technical work (as a technical architect) on Salesforce’s Life Sciences Cloud projects at 50% utilization and balance that with leading your team of Technical Consultants and Senior Technical Consultants.* You’ll be responsible for hiring, training, and mentoring our Technical Consultants so they can implement successfully in turning the program design of our Solution Architects and Technical Architects into highest-quality solutions that meets the customers’ needs, ensuring continuous team enablement across modern AI coding environments.* Serve as a trusted advisor to the client, guiding customers and colleagues in rationalizing and deploying emerging technologies and Enterprise AI Architecture frameworks that drive increased business value.* Identify and lead internal critical initiatives to grow the consulting practice; serving as an active contributor to the community’s overall knowledge base and expertise, championing an AI-First Delivery & Engineering model across your delivery team.* Work closely on projects with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and directly with clients to architect technology solutions to meet client needs.* Lead Enterprise Architecture and Governance for an enterprise-level customer engagement. Serve as a trusted advisor to the client driving conversations with their Enterprise Architects and business stakeholders that shape the architectural vision, integrate scalable predictive/generative AI elements securely, and establish a program architectural roadmap.* Lead functional and technical workshops. Demonstrate leadership skills in designing, delivering, testing, and deploying.* Lead a project team of developers focused on driving optimized solutions for our clients leveraging Salesforce Lifesciences and Health clouds, guiding teams on the effective use of AI development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot) to maintain delivery speed and code health.* Ensure the success of these teams while securing the highest CSAT and business outcomes, focusing on Performance Evaluation & ROI by defining metric frameworks to measure the business value of client AI workloads.* Manage customer expectations; negotiate solutions to complex problems with both the customer and third-party stakeholders.* Highlight and manage risk areas in the solution in a proactive manner, and commit to seeing an issue through to completion. **Minimum Requirements*** 10-15 years of experience leading Salesforce technical consulting projects and handling individual contributors.* 5+ years of people management experience.* Strong application design skills combined with strong data, integration, and security architecture skills.* Proven experience architecting enterprise-level Salesforce solutions in the life sciences or Veeva product or healthcare industry.* Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements including HIPAA, GxP, PHI, HL7, and FHIR.* Expertise in one or multiple domains of Healthcare Providers, Healthcare Payers,Life Science and Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, Public health & Government Healthcare programs, Insurance.* Experience in healthcare domain (Preferred)* Integration Architecture (Must have)* Platform Security (Must have)* Identity and Access Management / Integration Security* Sharing and Visibility (Must have)* Data Architecture and Management (Must have)* Architectural Design Patterns* Apex Design Patterns (Must Have)* Salesforce/Apex, Triggers, Lightning Flows, Lightning, LWC, and experience with modern web and mobile technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web Components, others) or Veeva CRm experience* Salesforce Certification Preferred (Admin, Developer, Sales, and Service Clouds, Application Architect, System Architect)* OmniStudio Developer/Consultant* Health Cloud Certification (Good to have).Unleash Your PotentialWhen you join Salesforce, you’ll be limitless in all areas of your life.
