Job summary

EY in New Delhi seeks a Manager for National Tax (GCR/ACR) to lead global mobility and payroll tax compliance. The role requires coordinating across jurisdictions to ensure accurate tax reporting and advisory support for expatriates.

You will work within a cross-functional team handling US payroll tax, statutory filings, and tax reconciliation, delivering timely, compliant solutions while maintaining strong client relationships and high professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Commerce degree required.
• 10+ years of payroll tax experience.
• Experience handling end-to-end global mobility tax across jurisdictions.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functionally and deliver compliant tax solutions.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated end-to-end global mobility tax compliance for expatriates across jurisdictions.
• Strong knowledge of US payroll tax compliance, statutory reporting and filings.
• Tax reconciliation including payroll validation and ledger matching.
• Support expatriate personal tax matters and coordinate deliverables across engagements.
• Manage tax compliance workstreams with accuracy, control and deadlines.

Responsibilities

Technical Excellence

• Demonstrated experience in handling end-to-end global mobility tax compliance for expatriates across jurisdictions. Strong knowledge of US payroll tax compliance with practical exposure to statutory reporting and filing requirements. Proficient in tax reconciliation processes, including validation of payroll, tax deductions, and return-to-ledger matching. Ability to support expatriate personal tax matters and coordinate compliance deliverables across engagements. Sound consulting foundation to manage tax compliance workstreams with accuracy, control, and adherence to deadlines.
