Job summary

B. Braun Medical (India) is seeking a Manager - SCM (Exim) to lead the EXIM function across its India entities. The role requires coordinating imports and exports for finished goods and raw materials, working with regional and global teams, and ensuring policy compliance.

The ideal candidate will have about 10 years in supply chain management, an MBA or equivalent, and strong negotiation, analytical and communication skills. A hybrid working model is offered with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Around 10 years of professional experience in supply chain management.
• MBA or equivalent qualification desirable.
• Experience driving the EXIM function for multiple entities.

Responsibilities

• Drive the EXIM function for all three entities of B. Braun India.
• Lead team to oversee imports & exports for finished goods and raw materials.
• Coordinate with regional & global counterparts across Malaysia, Germany, Spain.
• Collaborate with Local Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics & Regulatory Teams.
• Support transition of Capital goods & samples for Marketing purposes.
• Ensure compliance with Government Policies & notifications; adhere to DGFT rules.
• Identify & classify materials under applicable HSNs for duty payment compliance.
• Collaborate with CHA's, consultants, shipping lines & industry experts on key matters.
• Explore and utilize Duty drawbacks, RoDTEP, EPCG, FTAs & other schemes.

Reporting to: Deputy Genral Manager - SCM

Area of responsibility:

• Responsible for driving the EXIM function for all three entities of B. Braun India.
• Leading team to oversee smooth Imports & Export transactions for Trading operations for Finished goods as well as manufacturing units for Raw materials & export of Finished goods.
• Working in close collaboration with Regional & Global counterparts across Malaysia, Germany, Spain for all incoming shipments via Sea & Air
• Co-ordination in Local Planning, Manufacturing , Procurement, Logistics & Regulatory Teams
• Support in transition of Capital goods & samples for Marketing purpose
• Keeping a regular update on Government Policies & notifications, thus ensure compliance to the same
• Resolution / response to query / notification received from Custom's / DGFT
• Identification & classification of Materials under applicable HSN codes to ensure compliance on Duty payment.
• Collaboration with CHA's , consultants, shipping lines & Industry experts on key matters
• Availing existing benefits & developing strong saving pipeline under various schemes / policies like Duty drawback, Advance License, RoDTEP, EPCG, EOU's, Duty scripts & various FTA's.
• Drive various self-identified & management projects along with cross functional teams.
