Purpose
Manages a team of resources - FTEs Contractors Offshore - that develops, implements, maintains and supports software products and applications using appropriate processes, methodologies and technologies in compliance with SITA's policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee medium to large-scale development and implementation initiatives with significant cross‑functional impact, ensuring applications and systems support long‑term business objectives.
- Lead the team in building accurate project estimates, allocating resources, and making firm commitments to Project Managers to ensure timely and on‑budget delivery.
- Contribute to the enhancement and continuous improvement of Software Development processes.
- Mentor, coach, and develop a team of engineering professionals, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to excel.
- Serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) for customer engagements—from requirements gathering through solution deployment.
- Liaise with Product Owner for PI and Sprint planning and work prioritization.
- Prepare, maintain, and present KPI dashboards tracking team performance and operational delivery.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in a Software Engineering environment.
- 3‑5+ years in people management, preferably with matrix experience in a global environment.

Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Formal training or certification in project management is an added advantage.
- Proven experience leading delivery of .NET and/or Java‑based software products.
- Hands‑on experience working in a DevOps‑driven environment with Azure DevOps (ADO) is required.
