ib vogt GmbH, a global solar power developer, seeks a senior electrical project supervisor to lead field inspections, QA, and installation oversight across solar plants. You will monitor HT panels, inverters, transformers, SCADA systems, and cabling, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time progress.

With 12–15 years of hands-on experience, you will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, liaise with clients, and manage end-to-end testing and commissioning at sites worldwide.

Qualificações

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Advanced degree or professional certifications in related fields.
• 12–15 years hands-on experience in electrical installations and supervision, preferably in solar projects.

Responsabilidades

• Perform field quality inspections and raise RFIs. Ensure NCs addressed per client requirements and documented.
• Prepare daily inspection reports, QA documents, NC logs, and related reports.
• Monitor and supervise installation of electrical equipment including HT panels, inverters, transformers.
• Oversee SCADA systems, streetlights, CCTV, lightning arresters, weather monitoring systems, and cabling in solar plants.
• Execute projects efficiently, troubleshoot issues, and implement O&M requirements.
• Maintain communication with client and authorities regarding progress and issues.
• Submit daily, weekly, and monthly comprehensive reports.

You shall perform the following functions including but not limited to:

• Perform field quality inspections, materials inspections, and raise Requests for Inspection (RFI). Ensure non-conformities (NC) are addressed as per client requirements, and close NC issues with proper documentation.
• Prepare daily inspection reports, PowerPoint presentations, quality assurance documents, NC log sheets, and other related reports on a daily basis.
• Monitoring & Supervision Complete monitoring and supervision of the installation of electrical equipment including HT panels, inverters, transformers, etc.
• Oversee the installation of SCADA systems, streetlights, CCTV, lightning arresters, weather monitoring systems, and AC/DC power and control cabling in solar power plants.
• Execute projects efficiently, detect problems, and troubleshoot as needed.
• Make modifications as per site Operations & Maintenance (O&M) requirements.
• Maintain proper communication with the client and higher authorities regarding project progress and issues.
• Oversee HT/LT/DC cable lying, glanding, lugging, and termination.
• Supervise the installation and termination of panels, circuit breakers, CTs, PTs, and isolators.
• Ensure accurate documentation and records maintenance.
• Prepare for and manage end-to-end installation work ready for testing and commissioning of solar projects at the site. Ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Manage the erection of power transformers, CTs, PTs, lightning arresters, and line bus isolators.
• Plan and execute work as per approved designs and drawings.
• Oversee all on-site activities, including execution and project-related tasks, ensuring technical excellence and contributing to the company's growth.
• Submit daily, weekly, and monthly comprehensive reports.
• Control the quality, quantity, and resources of electrical work as per the schedule.
• Manage vendors and handle contractors effectively.
• Obtain all necessary permits and permissions required for the project.

Qualifications

Qualification and Educational Requirements:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Advanced degree or professional certifications in related fields.

Experience:

• Minimum of 12-15years of hands-on experience in electrical installations and supervision, preferably in solar power projects.

Technical Expertise:

• Extensive experience in the field of electrical engineering, especially in solar power plant installations.
• Strong knowledge of HT panels, inverters, transformers, SCADA systems, and electrical cabling.
• Proficient in the use of electrical instruments, design software, and project management tools. Knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
• Proven ability to manage site activities, handle project execution, and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Familiarity with quality and safety standards in electrical installations.
