Job description

Level of Education & Knowledge

• BE / B.Tech / M.Tech Chemical Engineer in Chemical engineering or Science graduate from recognized institute / university.
• Diploma/Post Diploma in Industrial safety from recognized institute.
• Diploma/ Post Diploma Environmental Technology & Management is preferable.

Experience in general

• Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in management of SHE in chemical manufacturing industry, preferably MAH unit with minimum 4 years at managerial position.

Technical skills

• Technical knowledge on chemical plant operations, Waste Water Treatment Plant, Air pollution Control system, fire safety & equipment’s, Industrial hygiene.
• Thorough knowledge of Central & local regulation on Safety, Health & Environment.
• Liaison experience with statutory authorities in getting the project approvals, license to operate (Consents , Environment clearances, License to store hazardous chemicals).
• Thorough knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001.
• Hazard identification Risk assessment & control, JSA, HAZOP, etc.
