Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager/Senior Manager Ports Design to join our team in Chennai, India

Responsibilities
  • In this pivotal role, you will lead and oversee the design and development of port infrastructure projects, ensuring innovative and efficient solutions that meet international standards and client requirements
  • Lead the design and development of port and harbor infrastructure
  • Conduct wave transformation, tide, and current modeling to assess marine environmental impacts
  • Optimize marine layouts for ports, harbors, and offshore structures using advanced numerical modeling tools
  • Provide hydrodynamic design solutions for river training, drainage, and coastal protection structures
  • Evaluate physical model studies and refine designs based on analysis results
  • Ensure compliance with national and international regulations for port operations and marine structures
  • Prepare feasibility studies, detailed project reports (DPRs), and tender documents for port infrastructure projects
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on large-scale infrastructure projects, including highways, bridges, and offshore energy facilities
  • Provide technical consultancy on sedimentation, shoreline changes, and hydrodynamic interactions for port and coastal developments
  • Engage with clients, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to secure approvals and optimize project implementation strategies
