About the team
The Finance team at CASE Platforms acts as a steward for the organisation and also supports its business growth — spanning controllership, finance operations, business finance, investor relations, taxation, and secretarial. The team plays a key role in equipping the organisation with the right financial information, and ensuring that the organisation’s financial foundation keeps pace with its growth.
About the role
We are looking to hire an ownership-driven individual for CASE Platforms’ Finance team. The role is focused on business finance, investor relations and acting as a generalist within the finance function - with a strong emphasis on working independently, taking initiative, and getting things done. The role requires the ability to work across functions without significant hand-holding.
What you will be doing
Business Finance
- Analysing business performance across the group — tracking key metrics, identifying trends, and translating data into insights that can inform decisions
- Building and maintaining financial models and projections, identifying variances against plan, and supporting business reviews
- Identifying opportunities for growth, revenue improvement, cost optimisation, and other areas that can benefit the organisation, and working with business teams to evaluate and act on them
- For new business initiatives, identifying the impact across relevant finance areas and working with the respective teams to implement the required changes
- Assisting on vendor negotiations, cost management, and other finance-adjacent commercial matters
Investor Relations
- Preparing and delivering regular performance updates to shareholders and the Board
- Responding to queries from investors and Board members on business performance, financial projections, and other matters
- Supporting on approvals required for various matters as per shareholder agreements
Special projects/initiatives
- Taking on cross-functional projects and initiatives across finance and other functions — these could include strategic research, process improvements/automation, or other org-level projects
- Working with business teams/founders on evaluating and executing specific business opportunities or initiatives
- More broadly, augmenting the bandwidth of the finance leadership in solving for cross-functional and specific projects as they come up
What we are looking for
- CA or CA+MBA with about 4-5 years of post‑qualification experience
- Prior experience in deals/transaction advisory at a Big 4 firm and/or at a B2C startup (post Series C stage, preferably product‑based); experience with IPOs for startups is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills - ability to build financial models, conduct analysis, and present findings clearly
- Experience with or understanding of investor relations — preparing updates, responding to Board queries, managing information flows
- Ability to work independently without a team and manage multiple workstreams at the same time
- Ability to work well with cross‑functional teams, including founders and senior leadership
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive and structured approach towards problem‑solving
- Curiosity to learn about new areas (including AI and automation tools) and adopt such learnings
