Responsibilities

  • Lead global Logistics enhancements related to SAP solutions across Production Execution and related areas.
  • Manage full cycle project delivery from scope to implementation, including testing and documentation.
  • Coordinate with international teams (NA, EU, APAC, LA) and stakeholders.
  • Test and troubleshoot interfaces to third-party applications within SAP modules.
  • Oversee change management and production readiness activities.
  • Document and review functional specs and user requirements.

Role Overview:

As part of the EIT SCM Make Team, The Specialist, S/4 Functional Team - Logistics plays a vital role in leading global Logistics enhancements related to SAP solution within Material Handling and integration across the business including areas such as Production Execution and Environmental Health & Safety. This role supports our global network across (NA, EU, APAC, and LA) and involves full cycle project management from scope to delivery. (Gap/requirement analyses, solutioning, testing, documentation, preparation/transition support to production, and hyper care).

What will you do in this role:
  • Be part of SCM (Supply Chain Management) international team of SAP Experts
  • Be responsible for managing all internal logistics changes related to SAP solution including integration within other areas of the business (ex. Production Execution and Environmental Health & Safety).
  • Responsible for full cycle project management from scope to delivery expected (Gap/requirement analyses, solutioning, testing, documentation, preparation/transition support to production, and hyper care)
  • Be part of live markets operational support delivering Logistics enhancements on current SAP solution within related functional areas.
  • Be responsible for change management process collaborating with the appropriate technical team.
  • Work with and Influence individuals across a global matrixed organization (NA, EU, APAC and LA) to realize key objectives.
  • Test and troubleshoot interfaces to third-party applications (Ex. Automated Warehouses -MMES) in relation to respective SAP modules.
  • Work on diverse projects like roll-out of our global solution to new markets
  • Document, review and approve functional specifications, user requirements specifications and formal testing.
  • Work in a matrix environment coordinating with outsourced support vendors.
  • Coordinate and work closely with other teams within other business areas.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations, work with the Business to deliver on SAP enhancements & projects.
  • Communicate risks, issues, challenges, and technical design status/progress. Ensure issues and risks are tracked and mitigation plans are in place.
What Should you have:
  • 3+ years of experience in Functional and technical (SAP) expertise for SAP Production Execution Module (Preferable PP-PI- Process industry).
  • EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) & SRM (Stock Room) experience
  • knowledge of end-to-end Material Handling processes:
    • Ex. MMES - Material Movement Automation Systems, & Shop floor system integrations.
  • Good English communication skills and the ability to interact directly with business users and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with SDLC in the pharmaceutical industry required.
  • Analytical problem solving skills
  • Ability to learn & leverage the latest technology.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive mindset to prevent issues before escalation.
