Role Overview:

The SAP Billing and AR Consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Billing and Accounts Receivable processes within the organization. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, design solutions, and ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules and external systems.

What will you do in this role:

• Serve as SME in the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP Billing and Accounts Receivables processes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into SAP functional designs and solutions.
• Provide technical expertise to ensure end‑to‑end OTC processes, ensuring alignment with business goals and SAP best practices.
• Configure and customize SAP FI (Accounts receivables), SAP SD and other relevant modules to meet the needs of the business.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP Billing & AR related issues, providing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant IT policies, standards, and audit requirements.
• Provide Knowledge transfer and training on delivered capabilities to business and IT peers

What Should you have:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience working with SAP, including strong configuration expertise in SAP Billing and AR processes.
• Proven experience in SAP implementations, upgrades, and support in large‑scale environments.
• Experience working in cross‑functional teams and global teams in complex, matrixed organizations.
• Knowledge of EDI, IDOCs, BTP and APIs for Billing & AR and/or OTC integrations.
• Understanding of tax integration (e.g., Thomson Reuters) is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively and participating in various project phases, including Solution Design, Testing, Cutover, and Go‑Live.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies is a plus.
• Background in the Life Sciences or pharmaceutical industry.
• Familiarity with project management / testing tools such as JIRA, HP/ALM, X‑Ray or ServiceNow.
• SAP S/4 experience a plus
