Job summary

EY in Pune is seeking a Consultant for Consulting Risk - Internal Audit in the Manufacturing sector. The role focuses on identifying risk, evaluating internal controls, and delivering audit-related insights across engagements.

Ideal candidates will have 4 to 7 years of Internal Audit experience in manufacturing, with familiarity of IIA/ICAI standards and strong analytical capabilities. This position requires collaboration across teams to drive effective risk management and remediation actions.

Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years of experience in Internal Audit within the Manufacturing sector.
• Awareness of internal auditing standards issued by IIA and ICAI.
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects as directed by managers.

Responsibilities

• Identify and internally escalate potential red flags related to the engagement.
• Prepare reports, deliverables, status updates and audit committee presentations.
• Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects as directed by the managers.
• Handle data analytics - Access, ACL etc.
• Proactively identify and elevate counselees not being chargeable on engagements.
• Maintain awareness of internal auditing standards issued by IIA and ICAI.

Enterprise Risk - helps clients identify and address key risk areas, while building the agility to respond quickly. The areas of focus include Enterprise risk and resilience, Internal audit, Compliance and Internal controls

Technology Risk - helps clients to achieve sustainable growth by supporting their efforts to protect their business performance and by providing trusted communications on internal control and regulatory compliance to investors, management, regulators, customers and other stakeholders. EY teams accomplish this by assessing the technology risks that are introduced to businesses.

Financial Services Risk - helps clients in the financial sector to identify, manage and monitor the risks in their business. Your key responsibilities Technical Excellence

Chartered Accountant/Certified Internal Auditor/Masters in Business Administration/ Any Graduate

Experience

• 4 to 7 years of experience into Internal Audit handling Manufacturing sector.
• Experience in applying relevant technical knowledge in at least one of the following engagements: (a) assessing internal controls frameworks, including testing of design and operational effectiveness. (b) developing risk remediation strategies. (c) performing and interpreting gap analysis (d) experience in Enterprise Resource Management and related risk analysis, process analytics, and business intelligence.
