Job summary

Gridlines is seeking a Manager in financial modelling to lead a team of modelling professionals and deliver robust, scalable models for complex client engagements.

You will manage a portfolio of active assignments, develop scenarios, discuss commercial issues with clients, and mentor junior staff while collaborating across remote teams.

Proven expertise in Excel, Project Finance, Corporate Finance, and a postgraduate in accounting/finance is beneficial.

Qualifications

• 5-6 years of relevant experience in a financial role within a recognized advisory practice or large corporate setting.
• An accounting qualification is beneficial.
• An in-depth understanding of Project Finance, Corporate Finance, or Financial Planning concepts.
• Strong analytical skills with proven experience in building and operating financial models using Excel.
• Degree qualified in a numerate discipline, with a postgraduate qualification in accounting or finance beneficial.
• Experience with the FAST financial modeling standard is desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.

• Contribute to development of modelling methodologies and tools.
• Prepare comprehensive model documentation detailing assumptions, methodologies and results.
• Maintain meticulous records of modelling processes and methodologies.
• Lead in developing project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.

• Managing a portfolio of active assignments
• Lead in the creation and optimization of comprehensive financial models to support strategic decision-making
