Job summary

Sun Pharma in India seeks an experienced IT Manager - SAP S/4HANA PM to lead PM/Asset Management solutions across manufacturing facilities, partnering with Maintenance, Reliability, Engineering, Operations, Procurement, and Finance.

The ideal candidate has 7-8+ years in SAP PM/EAM, 2 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations, and pharma industry background; SAP PM certified. Travel up to 30% is expected.

Educational requirements include BE/MCA; MBA/MS in IT is preferred for strategic IT leadership.

Qualifications

• 7-8+ years of SAP Plant Maintenance/Asset Management experience.
• Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation or conversion projects.
• Experience in manufacturing and pharma industries.
• Ability to design and configure PM processes in Technical Objects, Notifications, Order Processing, and Maintenance Planning.

We are seeking a highly experienced Manager with at least 7 to 8 years of relevant experience in SAP project rollouts, specializing in the PM module. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in SAP S/4HANA 2021 and a solid background in the pharmaceutical industry. The IT Manager - SAP S/4HANA Plant Maintenance will lead the design, implementation, support, and continuous improvement of SAP S/4HANA Asset Management solutions. The role will partner with Maintenance, Reliability, Engineering, Operations, Procurement, and Finance teams to drive asset reliability, maintenance efficiency, digital maintenance initiatives, and operational excellence across manufacturing facilities.

• Own and manage SAP S/4HANA Plant Maintenance (PM) and Asset Management solutions.
• Drive standardization and optimization of maintenance business processes across plants.
• Lead SAP PM enhancements, projects, rollouts, and support activities.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and digital transformation roadmap.

Areas Of Responsibility

• Manage SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA PM transformation initiatives.
• Drive adoption of SAP Best Practices for Asset Management.
• Implement/ Support SAP Fiori applications for maintenance users & Support mobile maintenance solutions and digital shop-floor initiatives.
• Govern Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
• Ensure system availability and operational stability.
• Conduct requirement workshops and process assessments.
• 7- 8+ years of SAP PM/EAM functional experience.
• Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation or conversion projects.
• Experience in manufacturing, pharma industries & Experience in handling cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Identify gaps, issues and workarounds. Handle changes or Emergency transports for high-priority issues. Document Functional designs, test cases and Results.
• Ability to design and configure processes in Technical Objects, Notifications, Order Processing, Preventative Maintenance Planning, and Work Scheduling.
• Provide consulting services for both new implementations and existing support projects. Offer ad-hoc training and user support as needed.
• Understanding of how Plant Maintenance processes integrate with Costing, Inventory Management, Production and Warehouse Management.
• Knowledge of Data migration tools and ABAP debugging experience is an advantage.

• Skill (Functional & Behavioural): SAP PM modules, Solution Architect (SOLMAN) experience, SAP integration with legacy and Mobility applications,
• Basic knowledge for Computer system validation
• Experience in SAP projects implementation in Pharma Manufacturing - PM module.
• Functional and project implementation experience in Pharma/life science Industry is must.
• Exposure to SAP other modules like Costing, MM, Production, etc.
