Job summary

Zscaler is seeking a Manager, Investor Relations & Strategic Finance to join our IR team in a remote capacity. You’ll drive quarterly earnings processes, lead strategic finance initiatives, and support corporate development to sustain long-term growth across global markets.

You’ll build financial models, benchmark competitors, and translate data into actionable insights for executives and investors while collaborating on Investor Day and board-level communications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience combining Investment Banking or Sell-Side Research with in-house Investor Relations at a high-growth, public SaaS or enterprise software company
• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field
• Strong financial modeling skills and advanced valuation depth, with the ability to discuss valuation frameworks for M&A and due diligence
• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging AI-driven solutions to optimize outcomes in IR

Responsibilities

• Support the quarterly earnings process, including the preparation of earnings press releases, call scripts, financial outlooks, Q&A documents, and accompanying work
• Perform financial, strategic, and competitive analyses, including industry and peer benchmarking, market/valuation trends, and ad-hoc projects to support strategic initiatives
• Build models and leverage data analysis to understand complex relationships, identify and synthesize key trends, and gain insight into critical metrics, drivers, and scalability
• Collaborate on the execution of our annual Investor Day and investor sessions at customer conferences
• Support high-impact corporate development and strategic finance initiatives, including M&A due diligence and long-range planning

Role

We are looking for a Manager, Investor Relations & Strategic Finance to join our team. This is a Remote role, reporting to the Senior Manager, Investor Relations & Strategic Finance in the Investor Relations & Strategic Finance department. In this critical position, you will drive key investor relations projects and play a pivotal role in our quarterly earnings processes. You will also lead high-impact strategic finance initiatives that support our long-term growth, competitive positioning, and operational success.

What We’re Looking For (Minimum Qualifications)

• 5+ years of relevant experience combining Investment Banking or Sell-Side Research with in-house Investor Relations at a high-growth, public SaaS or enterprise software company
• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, coupled with a strong interest in equity market operations and stock drivers
• Strong financial modeling skills and advanced valuation depth, with the capability to confidently discuss valuation frameworks for M&A and due diligence
• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions to optimize outcomes within your functional domain

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity architectures, cloud infrastructure, and subscription-based financial models
• Foundational to advanced understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience positioning AI-driven product pipelines, as well as utilizing modern analytics tools to optimize IR workflows
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification
