About this Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to provide 24x7 first-line support for Vodafone’s international roaming services, ensuring high service availability and an excellent customer experience. The role is responsible for alarm monitoring, incident and fault management, first-level triage, incident communications, and coordination with resolver teams throughout the incident lifecycle.

The successful candidate will support Vodafones TSSI Roaming Operations environment, which delivers first-level technical support across international roaming platforms and services including SS7 Signalling, LTE Signalling, VoLTE, 5G services, CAMEL Signalling, and centralised Value Added Services (VAS) such as Steering of Roaming (SoR), Virtual Home Environment (VHE), and Welcome Roaming SMS (WRSMS). These services are used across Vodafone local and partner markets globally.

What you’ll do

• Perform monitoring and troubleshooting activities to ensure the smooth functioning of international roaming services.
• Provide 24x7 first-line operational support through alarm monitoring, incident management, fault management, and service restoration activities.
• Manage proactive and reactive incidents within agreed service level agreements, ensuring minimal customer impact.
• Conduct first-level technical triage and coordinate with multiple resolver teams throughout the incident lifecycle.
• Monitor network quality and analyse KPI degradation trends to identify and resolve service issues.
• Investigate customer complaints and perform detailed technical analysis to support timely resolution.
• Support operational excellence by identifying automation opportunities and improving existing processes to reduce manual effort.
• Utilise technical expertise across roaming and core network domains to maintain service stability and performance.

Contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency

Who you are

Engineering graduate with relevant telecommunications or network engineering expertise.
5 to 10 years of experience within roaming technologies and international roaming operations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to assess complex technical issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong understanding of core network technologies, signalling protocols, and roaming ecosystems.
