About the Role

We are looking for a senior security leader to oversee our SOC operations, provide strategic guidance on network security, lead a 24x7 defense team, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee end-to-end SOC operations, including real‑time monitoring, incident triage, and escalation.
• Lead network security strategy and governance including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and VPN infrastructure.
• Manage and mentor a 24x7 cyber defense team, ensuring effective shift coverage and performance.
• Drive threat intelligence integration and lead response to advanced persistent threats.
• Conduct regular audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests.
• Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, HIPAA).
• Collaborate with IT, Risk, and Compliance teams for coordinated risk mitigation.

REQUIREMENTS

• 8+ years in cybersecurity, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience running or managing a 24x7 SOC.
• Strong expertise in SIEM tools, threat detection, and mitigation strategies.
• Relevant certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Regular eye‑hand coordination and manual dexterity required to operate office equipment.
• Ability to work at a computer terminal for 6–8 hours a day in a dynamic environment.
• Occasional lifting and moving material up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to manage elevated stress during periods of increased activity.
