Regal Rexnord is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform electrical and mechanical maintenance across the plant. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machines, test equipment, and electronic controls, including PLCs, to ensure smooth production.

You'll work with Manufacturing/Quality teams to implement changes, manage spare parts, and uphold safety standards. Strong problem-solving and hands-on repair skills are essential for this role.

Formación

• Diploma or degree in mechanical/mechatronics with relevant years of experience.
• Experience in maintenance of machinery and electrical/electronic controls.
• Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance and documentation.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position will be responsible to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of machinery and electronic equipment throughout the plant. Typical duties include electrical/mechanical maintenance and repair of machines, test equipment, electronic controls/PLC programming. Skills required to assist Manufacturing/Quality engineering to implement changes to machines & test equipment. Adhere to all division’s health and safety regulations to protect associates from injury during maintenance and normal use of equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Here are your key responsibilities:

• Worked in Machining industry and lean structure
• Troubleshoot & diagnose cause of mechanical/electrical/electronic malfunction/ Pneumatic or failure of production equipment as problems occur. Take action with sense of urgency to keep production running and minimize down time. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to restart production.
• Experience with troubleshooting drivers, CNC machines electronics components. Recommend new or upgraded equipment as needed to support/improve production methods. Work with R&D/Manufacturing/Quality engineers to establish specifications & get quotes, prepare justification to purchase, and to install/qualify the new equipment. Document maintenance requirements and communicate critical information to users.
• Set process & Maintain critical spare parts of the machines.
• Maintain essential documentation including manufacturers’ manuals, machine maintenance files, daily work logs and quotes/CAR’s/purchase requisitions for ordering parts and equipment.
• Hands on modification & improvement activities such as Kaizen & Poke yoke.
• Aware of Problem-solving tools 5W-1H, 5-Why & Fish bonne diagram.
• Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on all manufacturing equipment. Establish requirements and process, maintain PM database with updated information by work completed on equipment, and ensure that maintenance status can be identified on equipment.
• Worked on Predictive and Preventive Maintenance.
• Maintain supply of mechanical/electrical/electronic parts/ Pneumatic and materials needed for Preventive & Corrective Maintenance. Determine inventory of day to day and frequent use items/quantities required and re-order as needed to minimize production downtime.

Education and Experience Requirements

Mechanical/Mechatronics- Diploma with 10-12 years and Degree with 7 to 8 years of exp.

Key Relationships

• Requires daily interaction with Production leaders and Manufacturing engineers.
• Requires frequent interaction with Quality engineers and purchasing.
• Requires interaction with suppliers and manufacturers’ technical support representatives.
• Requires interaction with users to train them on new equipment or procedures for maintenance.

Language Skills

Comfortable with English, Hindi/ Marathi
