Qualifications

• 15–18 years of hands-on software engineering experience in full‑stack development.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot with enterprise app development experience.
• Strong frontend experience with ReactJS or similar technologies.

• Relational databases design, optimization, and data modeling.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Manager – Full-Stack Java Engineering to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, high-performance software products and features. This role combines hands‑on engineering expertise with technical leadership, cross‑functional collaboration, and mentorship to build robust, secure, and future‑ready applications.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java‑based backend development, modern frontend frameworks, microservices architecture, and distributed systems. You will work closely with product managers, UX designers, and engineering teams to deliver user‑centric solutions, improve system reliability, and drive engineering excellence. The role requires strong technical ownership, the ability to guide engineering teams, and a pragmatic approach to solving complex problems at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of scalable full‑stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, ReactJS, and modern frontend technologies.
• Architect and develop reliable microservices and user interfaces that support high‑volume, mission‑critical business applications.
• Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering stakeholders to translate business requirements and user stories into technical solutions and actionable development plans.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers through code reviews, design discussions, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
• Drive best practices in software architecture, coding standards, automated testing, agile development, and continuous integration.
• Design and optimize RESTful APIs, relational database schemas, queries, and distributed system components.
• Improve system reliability and operational excellence through monitoring, metrics, alerting, observability, and proactive risk management.
• Participate in production support and on‑call rotations, ensuring timely incident resolution and continuous system improvement.
• Evaluate and implement appropriate technologies, tools, and architectural patterns to improve scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools responsibly while adhering to organizational policies and engineering standards.
• Promote effective communication and collaboration across technical and non‑technical teams.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 15–18 years of hands‑on software engineering experience, with strong expertise in full‑stack application development.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, including experience with related Spring frameworks, ORM tools, and enterprise application development.
• Strong frontend development experience with ReactJS or other modern JavaScript frameworks, with the ability to adapt to new technologies as required.
• Extensive experience designing and developing microservices, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and data modeling.
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, object‑oriented programming, and design principles.
• Experience building scalable, resilient, and maintainable software systems.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical guidance, mentor engineers, and influence engineering decisions.
• Understanding of system observability, operational metrics, performance monitoring, and production reliability.

Good‑to‑Have Skills

• Experience in advertising technology (AdTech) or digital advertising platforms.
• Familiarity with programmatic advertising, real‑time bidding (RTB), and high‑throughput advertising systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• Knowledge of DevOps and infrastructure tools such as Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with data streaming and messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis, Amazon SNS, and Amazon SQS.
• Familiarity with Vue.js, Angular, or other modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated deployment, and cloud‑native application development.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Equivalent practical experience and a strong technical background may also be considered.
