Job summary

KPMG Assurance and Consulting Services LLP in Gurugram is seeking a Manager for Forensic Services. The role requires CA qualification and 4-6 years of post-qualification experience in forensic work, including complex disputes and fraud investigations.

You will lead fieldwork, supervise teams, and deliver high-quality analysis and reports, engaging with Partners and Directors throughout engagements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage fieldwork, plan workstreams, review evidence and monitor progress.
• Apply accounting, auditing and financial analysis to dispute matters.
• Coach and review junior team members during fieldwork with quality control.
• Prepare and review first-level draft deliverables for Director and Engagement Partner.
• Assist the Director with engagement management, planning, time booking and billing.
• Demonstrate professional skepticism and ownership while managing multiple tasks and expectations.

Job description

Qualification: Chartered Accountant mandatory

Experience: 4-6 years of post qualification experience

Role: Manager, Forensic Services, Gurgoan

• Lead end-to-end delivery of forensic engagements, including complex accounting, commercial and financial dispute matters and operational and financial fraud investigations.
• Manage fieldwork execution across engagements, including planning workstreams, reviewing evidence, supervising procedures, monitoring progress and ensuring high-quality delivery by project teams.
• Apply strong accounting, auditing and financial analysis skills to assess books of accounts, transactions, contracts, business records and other relevant information in dispute and investigation matters.
• Guide, coach and review the work of junior team members during fieldwork, ensuring appropriate documentation, attention to detail, quality control and timely escalation of key issues.
• Prepare and review first-level draft deliverables, including investigation/dispute reports, dispute analysis, financial computations, findings summaries and supporting documentation, for final review by the Director and Engagement Partner.
• Assist the Director in engagement management activities, including project planning, team deployment, time booking discipline, billing support, client follow-ups and payment realization.
• Demonstrate patience, professional skepticism, strong ownership and a keen eye for detail while managing multiple tasks, client expectations and sensitive engagement dynamics.
