Macquarie Group in India seeks a seasoned Chartered Accountant to manage financial accounting and reporting, delivering insights on performance and IFRS compliance. You will work across regions in a global network and contribute to a strong control environment.

The role involves leading a high-performing team, overseeing month-end close, statutory and tax reporting, payroll accounting, and driving process improvements while collaborating with the business.

• CA with 5-7 years of experience in technical accounting and IFRS.
• Strong capabilities in financial reporting, month-end close, and statutory/regulatory reporting.
• Payroll and benefits accounting knowledge with reconciliation skills.
• Ability to drive process improvement and strengthen internal controls.
• Demonstrated ownership and prioritisation in a dynamic environment.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will help maintain a strong financial control environment across our global organisation while leading an inclusive and high-performing team. You will be responsible for delivering key processes, driving operational excellence, and ensuring effective process ownership. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the business, gaining deep insight into the functions and teams you support.

What you offer

• CA with minimum 5-7 years of experience in technical accounting, with a deep understanding of IFRS and the ability to assess and apply appropriate accounting treatments to complex business transactions.
• Advanced financial reporting and analysis capabilities, including month-end close, balance sheet management, and statutory, regulatory, and tax reporting.
• Sound payroll and benefits accounting knowledge, supported by strong reconciliation and financial control skills.
• Proven ability to drive process improvement, lead projects, and enhance operational efficiency and internal controls.
• Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and problem-solving skills, with strong planning and prioritisation abilities to deliver high-quality outcomes in a dynamic environment.
