Job summary

Economy Process Solutions in Maharashtra seeks a Finance & Accounts professional to oversee monthly closings, financial reporting and MIS/FP&A, ensuring compliance with Ind AS and regulatory requirements. The role also provides oversight of overseas subsidiaries, supports consolidation of accounts and drives process improvements.

You will coordinate FEMA/ODI filings, manage audits, strengthen internal controls, monitor cash flows and participate in finance transformation and SAP projects.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years post-qualification experience in Finance & Accounts, with hands-on exposure to monthly closing, financial reporting, MIS / FP&A, budgeting, audit, consolidation and FEMA / ODI compliance.
• Exposure to overseas subsidiary accounting, SAP / ERP and finance transformation projects will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• 1) Financial Closing & Reporting: Manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing and ensure timely completion of books.
• Review trial balance, provisions, accruals, reconciliations and financial statements.
• Ensure accounting and reporting in accordance with applicable Ind AS / Accounting Standards.
• 2) MIS, FP&A & Budgeting: Prepare monthly MIS covering revenue, profitability, expenses and working capital.
• Analyse actuals vs. budget / forecast and provide management commentary.
• Coordinate budgeting, forecasting and preparation of financial projections and business cases.
• 3) Consolidation & Overseas Subsidiaries: Coordinate monthly reporting and closing of overseas subsidiaries.
• Review financial information, inter-company balances and transactions.
• Support consolidation of accounts and preparation of consolidated financial statements.
• Monitor financial performance, cash flows and key finance matters of overseas entities.
• 4) FEMA & Compliance: Coordinate FEMA / ODI compliance for overseas investments and transactions.
• Support ODI filings, AD Bank / RBI reporting and related documentation.
• Coordinate with banks, consultants and advisors on FEMA and cross-border matters.
• 5) Audit & Internal Controls: Coordinate internal, statutory and external audits.
• Ensure timely submission of audit schedules and closure of audit observations.
• Support strengthening of internal controls, finance policies and processes.
• 6) Treasury & Working Capital: Monitor cash flows, liquidity, receivables, payables and working capital.
• Support cash flow forecasting, banking activities and foreign exchange management.
• 7) Finance Projects & Process Improvement: Lead / support finance transformation, automation and ERP / SAP projects.
• Support new entity setup, restructuring and other strategic finance initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, controls and financial reporting.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for financial accounting, monthly closing, financial reporting, MIS, FP&A, audit, FEMA compliance and finance projects. The role will also provide financial oversight of overseas subsidiaries, support consolidation of accounts and ensure timely and accurate financial information for management decision-making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Financial Closing & Reporting
