Job summary

Collins Aerospace, part of RTX, seeks a seasoned Digital Engineering Leader in Bengaluru (Hybrid) to drive the Digital Engineering roadmap, balance people leadership with technical depth, and align cross-functional teams to improve productivity and outcomes.

You will translate strategy into priorities, guide software and systems initiatives, and develop capabilities while partnering with global engineers, architects, and stakeholders to scale innovative solutions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related STEM field with 10+ years of relevant engineering experience, including team leadership.
• Strong understanding of Software engineering, Systems Engineering or related technologies.
• Experience delivering complex technical initiatives and influencing across teams.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and people leadership skills.
• Experience with cloud, APIs, data platforms, CI/CD, and modern Software Engineering (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Translate Digital Engineering strategy into priorities, plans, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
• Lead Digital Engineering, Software and System initiatives; guide technical decisions and resolve cross-team challenges.
• Develop engineers, build Digital Engineering, Systems and Software capabilities, and support hiring and performance management.
• Partner with global Engineering teams, Architects, Product Owners, Discipline Leaders, and stakeholders to drive adoption and reuse.
• Focus innovation on the right business problems; enable experimentation and scale successful solutions.

Overview

Lead a team working on Digital Engineering, Software and Systems Engineering to improve Engineering productivity and business outcomes. Own execution and adoption of the Digital Engineering roadmap. Balance people leadership, technical depth, execution, and innovation.

Required Qualifications
