The role involves supervising engineers and designers, providing leadership to resolve technical issues across design disciplines and coordinating with PM and EM.

Responsibilities

• Design of equipment and building foundations.

• Review of EPC Contractor civil documents related to Solar PV and Wind projects.
• Review of Civil documents to ensure deliverables meet local regulations / statutory requirements.
• Development of roads and drain layouts for the plant.

Purpose & Scope of Position

The Project Engineer (PE) will be part of an engineering stream providing engineering services to large and small projects. The PE provides support to the Project Manager (PM) and Engineering Manager (EM) and is responsible for supervising a team of working engineer and designers. The PE provides leadership and assists in the resolution of all technical issues related to the discipline.

Experience

• 10+ years of experience in relevant design discipline
• Experience in engineering and package coordination

Qualification

• Postgraduate or graduate in an engineering discipline
• Registration as a professional engineer with the governing authority (preferable)

Key Responsibilities

• Design of equipment and building foundations
• Design of RCC and Steel structures.
• Review of EPC Contractor civil documents related to Solar PV and Wind projects
• Review of Civil documents to ensure that deliverables meeting the local regulations / statutory requirements.
• Development of roads and drain layouts for the plant.

Key Technical Skills Required:

• Basic knowledge on Solar PV, Wind and BESS Projects.
• Knowledge on review of site investigation / survey reports.
• Knowledge on construction methodology for Civil foundation and structures.
• Knowledge on International standards and related other codes.

Other Requirements:

• Good communication skills for preparing executive level summaries for leadership teams.
