Job Overview

The Senior Consultant/Manager – Functional BA Data will support large-scale data migration and transformation programs for global banking clients as part of digital transformation initiatives. The role translates complex banking business requirements into functional data specifications, working across business, data, and technology teams to ensure accurate data delivery, validation, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document business and functional requirements for data migration projects in global banking environments.
• Define source-to-target mappings, data transformation rules, and data models for banking domains.
• Support data validation, reconciliation processes, and business sign-off during migration phases.
• Work closely with business users, data engineers, and IT teams to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Support digital transformation and core banking modernization initiatives focused on data aspects.
• Ensure alignment with banking data standards, governance frameworks, and regulatory/compliance requirements.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, requirement reviews, and cross‑functional discussions.

Must‑Have Skills & Experience

• 7–15 years as a Functional BA / Data BA specifically in global banking environments.
• Strong understanding of banking data domains: customer, accounts, transactions, products, etc.
• Hands‑on experience with data migration and data transformation projects in banking.
• Knowledge of data management concepts: data quality, lineage, governance, and standards.
• Experience working in Agile or Waterfall delivery models within banking projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across business and technical teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Finance, or related field.

Prior experience in business consulting or professional services environment preferred.
