Job summary

RSM US Integrated Services India Private Limited is seeking a Manager for Power Platform & Modern Front-End Engineering to lead the delivery of enterprise-grade solutions built on Power Platform and Azure, with modern front-end stacks like React, Angular, and Next.js. You will mentor developers, shape architecture, and drive delivery excellence across client engagements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in application development or solution delivery.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Dataverse).
• Strong experience with modern front-end technologies, including: React (required) Angular and/or Next.js (preferred)
• Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, and modern UI patterns.
• Experience integrating Power Platform with custom front-end applications and Azure services.
• Prior experience leading or mentoring development teams.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements, user stories, process flows, and client objectives into practical technical solution designs.
• Lead solution design sessions that clarify business capabilities, system boundaries, integration needs, data ownership, security requirements, and user experience expectations.
• Produce written design artifacts such as solution design documents, architecture decision records, integration diagrams, data models, interface definitions, and implementation notes.
• Identify gaps, ambiguities, risks, and assumptions in requirements; document them clearly and drive resolution with business and technical stakeholders.
• Define technical options and tradeoffs, including cost, maintainability, scalability, extensibility, complexity, delivery timeline, and operational support considerations.
• Ensure design decisions align with enterprise standards, Power Platform governance, ALM practices, security expectations, and long-term maintainability.
• Manage and mentor a team of Power Platform and front-end developers.
• Provide technical coaching on Modern JavaScript frameworks Power Platform best practices Blended low-code / pro-code solutions
• Partner with Architects and team leads to ensure consistent delivery quality and technical alignment.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients, helping them: Understand when Power Platform is the right fit Blend Power Platform with custom front-end solutions where appropriate Lead technical discovery, solution shaping, and early prototyping efforts.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Manager, Power Platform & Modern Front-End Engineering to lead the delivery and evolution of enterprise-grade solutions built on Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, with a strong emphasis on modern front-end technology stacks such as React, Angular, and Next.js. This role is accountable for translating business requirements, process needs, and client objectives into clear, scalable technical solution designs. The manager is expected to produce and review written design artifacts, define system boundaries, guide integration patterns, and ensure teams understand both the "why" and the "how" behind implementation decisions. The ideal candidate is both a hands-on technical leader and a people manager, comfortable setting direction, reviewing architecture, mentoring developers, and ensuring delivery excellence across client engagements.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Requirements Translation

Translate business requirements, user stories, process flows, and client objectives into practical technical solution designs. Lead solution design sessions that clarify business capabilities, system boundaries, integration needs, data ownership, security requirements, and user experience expectations. People & Team Leadership

Manage and mentor a team of Power Platform and front-end developers. Provide technical coaching on: Modern JavaScript frameworks Power Platform best practices Blended low-code / pro-code solutions Support staffing, utilization, and skills development across your team. Partner with Architects and team leads to ensure consistent delivery quality and technical alignment.

Client Engagement & Solution Strategy

Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients, helping them: Understand when Power Platform is the right fit Blend Power Platform with custom front-end solutions where appropriate Lead technical discovery, solution shaping, and early prototyping efforts. Communicate tradeoffs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ensure client solutions are built with long-term scalability and maintainability in mind.

Technical Leadership & Delivery

Lead the design and delivery of solutions leveraging: Power Apps (Model-Driven, Canvas, Power Pages) Power Automate / Copilot Studio Dataverse Dynamics 365 Guide teams in integrating Power Platform solutions with modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Next.js) and Azure-hosted services. Establish architectural patterns for: Front-end extensibility API-based integrations Secure and scalable deployments Drive adoption of AI-assisted development (e.g., Copilot, code generation, system analysis) to accelerate delivery and improve quality. Review designs, code, and solutions to ensure they meet enterprise standards for performance, security, and maintainability.

Practice & Capability Growth

Drive the evolution of Power Platform accelerators, reusable components, and delivery standards. Help shape governance, ALM, and DevOps practices for Power Platform + front-end solutions. Stay current with emerging trends in: Power Platform Modern front-end frameworks Azure and AI-enabled development Share learnings across the practice to elevate overall capability.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in application development or solution delivery.
• Strong understanding of system design principles, including modularity, integration patterns, data modeling, security, scalability, maintainability, and operational readiness.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Dataverse).
• Strong experience with modern front-end technologies, including: React (required) Angular and/or Next.js (preferred) Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, and modern UI patterns.
• Experience integrating Power Platform with custom front-end applications and Azure services.
• Prior experience leading or mentoring development teams.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Dynamics 365 customization and extension.
• Familiarity with Azure services (Functions, App Services, API Management).
• Experience with CI/CD and ALM for Power Platform and web applications.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools and practices.
• Consulting or client-facing delivery experience.
