Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manager Credit & Risk with strong experience in Partnership Lending and B2B SME Lending to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in evaluating credit risk, maintaining lender and customer relationships, conducting customer PDs (Personal Discussions), and running programs end-to-end in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The role also requires good understanding of the tech side of lending products and the ability to work closely with product and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct detailed credit and financial analysis for individual and business loan applications.
  • Evaluate financial statements, bank statements, and credit bureau data to assess risk and eligibility.
  • Maintain strong relationships with lenders, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct Personal Discussions (PDs) with customers to assess their business model, cash flows, and repayment capacity.
  • Manage B2B and SME lending programs end-to-end — from partner onboarding to disbursement.
  • Coordinate with vendors, lenders, and customers to ensure smooth program execution.
  • Analyze industry trends, borrower profiles, and market conditions for sound credit decision-making.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive credit appraisal reports and risk assessments to senior management.
  • Monitor existing loan portfolios to identify early warning signals and suggest appropriate corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with credit policies, regulatory norms (RBI, NBFC), and internal risk frameworks.
  • Collaborate with product and technology teams to enhance process efficiency and lending automation.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in Credit Analysis, Risk Management, or Partnership Lending, preferably in Banking, NBFC, or Fintech.
  • Strong background in B2B / SME lending, co-lending models, and portfolio risk management.
  • Excellent understanding of credit underwriting, ratio analysis, and financial statement review.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with lenders, customers, and vendors.
  • Experience managing programs and partnerships end-to-end.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, financial modeling, and credit evaluation tools.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • CA / CA (Inter) / FRM certification preferred but not mandatory.
Compensation:

Up to 18 LPA (Fixed + Variable) – commensurate with experience and skills.
