About the job Manager- Corporate Development

Qualification: CA/MBA

Experience: 3+ years of experience in equity research with global/domestic banking companies

Location: Bangalore (Work from Office)

Must have: Experience and exposure of equity research/corporate development.

Role:

  • Sector/Company Research
  • Build thesis/models on upcoming opportunities (sector/new startups) to invest behind
  • Assist the management team with evaluation and experimentation in new business initiatives/ventures
  • Investor Relations - capital raise and engagement
  • Assist with preparation for fund raises (equity and debt) across pre investment (evaluation), investment (diligence) and post investment phases (round closure)
  • Proactively prepare for and communicate key business performance across existing investors and key business leaders
  • Actively involved in weekly/monthly cadence meetings with the board
  • Preparation and updating of financial model for the company

Skills:

  • Strong research mindset, high on inquisitiveness to unlock insights
  • Highly analytical, ability to build and manage complex models
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Soft skills with high proficiency in excel and power point mandatory

Persona:

  • Finance background, CA, MBA
  • MBA / CFA certification preferred
  • 3 years experience in leading global/domestic banking or experience in capital markets + financial services (Equity research, corp dev role in another company)
