FlexBoard is seeking a Manager, Clinical Pharmacy (Prior Authorization) for a remote role. The position oversees clinical pharmacy programs, formulary management, MTM, reporting, and regulatory compliance with leadership to VP of Pharmacy.

The role requires VA pharmacist license, 5 years pharmacist experience, 4 years health plan/managed care experience, and 1 year of management, with prior authorization workflows and a team of 15 pharmacists.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in VA is REQUIRED.
• Pharmacist with 5 years of experience is REQUIRED.
• Health Plan experience of 4 years is REQUIRED.
• Managed Care experience of 4 years is REQUIRED.
• Management experience of 1 year is REQUIRED.
• Pharmacy Benefit Manager experience of 4 years is REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate clinical pharmacy programs, including formulary and utilization management, medication therapy management, pharmacy care management, reporting, and regulatory requirements.
• Report to the VP, Pharmacy and collaborate with other management in the pharmacy department, including coordination with the health services team.
• Analyze systems, programs, and resources to maximize their effectiveness.
• Manage our clinical prior authorization operations workflows including electronic prior authorization build and staff management of 15 reports (Clinical Pharmacists).
