Job summary

FlexBoard is seeking a senior professional to lead the Clinical Data Software Management team in India. The role oversees data schemas, modeling, ingestion pipelines, and workflows to ensure high-quality data deliverables across clinical data operations.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in computer science with 8+ years of software development experience, including data management, SQL/ETL, and AWS services. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BS degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of overall software development experience, preferably building data or process management applications.
• Experience with SQL databases (Redshift, etc.), SQL, and ETL.
• Experience with applications such as Macros, Quicksight and Tableau or similar.
• Experience with AWS services like Redshift and S3.
• Experience in manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Function as the line supervisor to clinical data management and data software engineering staff.
• Translate technical plans into operational processes and guide team execution to meet timelines and budgets.
• Design alternatives, architectural reviews, and provide recommendations to leadership.
• Write software specifications and implement software components based on product requirements.
• Create unit tests and coordinate testing across teams for data software management.
• Write SQL, Python, and ETL scripts to query raw and clinical/genomic data.
• Design and manage data pipelines, storage solutions, and Airflow workflows in a cloud environment.
• Create data marts and perform data transformation and de-identification steps.
• Identify and implement department policies and best practices; track KPIs and support hiring.
