Job summary

Charles Schwab India seeks a Strategy & Change Manager to translate enterprise priorities into executable strategies and coordinated transformation plans. Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Business, Strategy, Organizational Development or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in strategy, organizational change management, transformation, consulting, program management, business operations, transition management, or related disciplines.
  • Strong understanding of change management, program governance, stakeholder engagement, and benefits realization practices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic roadmaps that connect business priorities, workforce considerations, transition objectives, and operational outcomes.
  • Conduct research, benchmarking, and analysis to identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Develop business cases, investment proposals, executive presentations, and recommendations for priority initiatives.
  • Track strategic initiatives, surface risks and dependencies, and provide decision-ready insights to leadership.
  • Support design and implementation of scalable operating models, governance structures, and execution frameworks.
  • Manage or coordinate cross-functional transformation workstreams, milestones, dependencies, and action closure.
  • Drive initiatives focused on process optimization, standardization, organizational effectiveness, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop practical playbooks, methodologies, and repeatable tools that improve consistency across initiatives.
  • Assess organizational impacts and recommend process, governance, role, or ways-of-working changes required for sustainable scale.
  • Develop and execute change strategies for new operating models, capability transitions, and transformation initiatives.
  • Conduct stakeholder assessments, change impact analyses, readiness evaluations, and adoption planning.
  • Develop stakeholder engagement, communication, listening, training, and reinforcement plans in partnership with relevant teams.
  • Identify resistance, readiness gaps, and adoption risks, and implement practical mitigation actions.
  • Partner with leaders and change champions to embed new processes, governance structures, behaviors, and ways-of-working.
  • Monitor adoption and readiness indicators, gather feedback, and adjust interventions to sustain change.
  • Support transition programs from opportunity assessment and planning through migration, stabilization, and value realization.
  • Develop transition plans, readiness assessments, implementation roadmaps, governance routines, and success measures.
  • Coordinate knowledge transfer, documentation, operational readiness, handoffs, and stabilization activities.
  • Maintain visibility of milestones, interdependencies, risks, decisions, and mitigation actions.
  • Help ensure business continuity, stakeholder confidence, and achievement of agreed operational outcomes during transition.
  • Build trusted partnerships across global and local stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Develop clear change narratives, leadership messages, executive updates, town hall materials, FAQs, and communication toolkits.
  • Facilitate workshops, working sessions, governance reviews, and decision discussions.
  • Synthesize complex information into concise choices, recommendations, and leadership-ready materials.
  • Influence without direct authority and create alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.

What you have
Role Description

The Strategy & Change Manager is a senior individual contributor responsible for translating enterprise priorities into executable strategies, coordinated transformation plans, and sustainable change outcomes. The role partners with business and functional leaders to support strategic planning, capability growth, operating model evolution, and organizational readiness.

The incumbent will develop business cases, strategic roadmaps, change strategies, readiness assessments, governance mechanisms, and value tracking approaches. Working across business, technology, operations, risk, finance, legal, HR, and enterprise teams, the role will help implement priority initiatives with strong execution discipline, stakeholder alignment, risk awareness, and measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy Development & Execution
  • Partner with CSIN SLT and other enterprise stakeholders to support strategic planning, capability growth, and transformation priorities.
  • Develop strategic roadmaps that connect business priorities, workforce considerations, transition objectives, and operational outcomes.

  • Define KPIs, adoption indicators, and value measures aligned with business case commitments.
  • Track benefits realization, operational outcomes, and lessons learned, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support continuous improvement, business continuity, resilience, and long-term operational maturity.
Required Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Business, Strategy, Organizational Development or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in strategy, organizational change management, transformation, consulting, program management, business operations, transition management, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting complex transformation, change, operating model, or business enablement initiatives.
  • Experience developing business cases, strategic roadmaps, change strategies, readiness assessments, and executive-level materials.
  • Strong understanding of change management, program governance, stakeholder engagement, and benefits realization practices.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes across highly matrixed environments.
  • Excellent analytical, facilitation, executive communication, stakeholder management, and execution skills.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, multiple priorities, and cross-functional dependencies with high ownership.
